બૌદ્ધિક સંપત્તિ અધિકાર માં મુખયત્વે કોપીરાયઇટ, પેટન્ટ, ઔદ્યોગિક ડિઝાઇન, ટ્રેડમાર્ક્સ, સર્વિસ માર્ક્સ અને ભૌગોલિક સંકેતો નો સમાવેશ થાય છે. ઉપરોક્ત અન્વયે પારંપરિક કુશળતા તથા કુદરતી રીતે અલગ તરી આવતી વિભિન્નતાને ભૌગોલિક સંકેત આપવામાં આવે છે. ભૌગોલિક સંકેત એ વિશેષ વસ્તુઓ, પ્રાકૃતિક વસ્તુઓ તથા ઉત્પાદનો ને આપવામાં આવતું નામ આથવા ચિન્હ છે. જે તે વસ્તુઓના ચોક્કસ ભૌગોલિક સ્થાન અથવા મૂળનું પ્રમાણ આપે છે, અને વસ્તુની ગુણવત્તા કે મહત્વ સુનિશ્ચિત કરે છે.
